Steven T. Tabac, CA, MBA
Steven T. Tabac studied at The University of Michigan where he received his MBA degree in 1964. He qualified for his B. Comm. in 1963. He qualified as a CA in 1965 and is a member of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec.
He received his training as a staff accountant at the Montreal office of Price Waterhouse & Co. in 1964 where he remained until August, 1967.
In October 1974, Steven established his own firm as S.T. Tabac & Co. In 1977, he joined the firm of Richler, Lerner, Wolman and Co. as a partner and has been a partner in this firm which is now known as Richler & Tabac in Montreal. He has served
as a partner from inception of both his firm and of the merged firm and has been involved with the development of the practice including a substantial amount of personal tax work, financial and related tax planning.
Mr. Tabac has also taught and lectured at McGill and Concordia universities as well as Vanier and Dawson CEGEPS from 1967 - 1976 . He also lectured extensively on taxation matters for bankers. Steven has encouraged former students to become Chartered Accountants and members of the profession. Many of the students today are his peers and partners in numerous firms throughout North America.
Since 1969, Mr. Tabac has been a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and was a charter member of Yukon Institute of Chartered Accountants since its establishment in 1977.
His specialties include personal client development and retention, personal and corporate tax planning, estate planning and debt resolution.
Mr. Tabac has been President of numerous organizations including fraternal, religious, ecological and numerous other community organizations.
Steven's family includes his beautiful wife Jacklin and their 4 children: Ivan, Danny, Stephanie and Bradley, and 9 grandchildren.
Gianni S. Capozzi, CA
Gianni S. Capozzi studied at Concordia University where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce in 1982.
He joined Richler & Tabac in January, 1985. He qualified as a CA (1986) and is a member of Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec.
He specializes in auditing, tax and financial forecasting for a host of owner managed clients.
Kuldeep K. Khanna, B.Comm., M.Comm., AICWA
Kuldeep K. Khanna studied at Delhi University (India) where he received his B. Comm. (with honors) and M. Comm. degree.
He also received his AICWA (Associate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants).
He attended McGill University (1986 - 1989) where he achieved a High Academic Standing in the Graduate Program in Public Accountancy (November, 1989).
He wrote his UFE's and qualified in 1989. Presently, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
He acts as a resource person for other associates on Canadian and U.S. tax matters. He is also responsible for client development and providing added value services to clients.
Mr. Khanna is actively involved in community work and was the past Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Hindu Temple located in the West Island of Montreal.
Norman Lipkowitz, B.Comm.
Norman Lipkowitz has extensive experience with small and medium sized owner managed companies for over 25 years.
He also as part of the completion of the year-end financial statements completes the related personal and corporation tax planning.
He passed his UFE exams in 1976 and is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants.
His specialties include accounting, corporate and personal tax planning.
